Underaged driver crashes stolen vehicle into Lakewood home
LAKEWOOD, CO -Police in Lakewood have reported a collision in which a juvenile crashed into a residence Monday morning.
According to KDVR, the crash occurred at about 10 a.m. within the 5600 block of West Iliff Drive.
Investigators say the vehicle was stolen by two juveniles, a male and female, shortly before the crash occurred. Details regarding what may have caused the driver to leave the roadway remain unclear. The identities of those involved are being withheld due to their age.
The homeowner was inside at the time of the crash. Luckily, they did not sustain any injuries as a result.
