Suspect killed after police chase, crash in Evans
EVANS, CO – A police chase ended with a crash and attempted carjacking in Evans Tuesday afternoon.
According to CBS 4, Greeley police attempted to stop a man wanted on felony warrants around 2:30 p.m. when the suspect fled.
The unidentified man crashed into another vehicle at the Loaf ‘N Jug convenience store on 33rd Street where he attempted to carjack another individual. When he refused to surrender to the police, he was shot.
Fortunately, no citizens or officers were hurt during the incident. However, multiple SUVs sustained significant damage.
