Runaway UPS truck collides with four parked cars in Denver neighborhood
DENVER, CO – At least four vehicles were damaged when a UPS truck rolled away from a parked position in the Harvey Park Neighborhood last Wednesday afternoon.
According to CBS 4, the incident was reported at about 2:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Footage from a neighbor’s smart doorbell shows the truck rolling backwards at considerable speed, striking multiple vehicles along the way.
Investigators with the Denver police have determined the accident occurred when the driver attempted to start the truck after making a delivery. The truck jumped out of gear and began rolling backward down the roadway.
