Police searching for driver involved in fatal Aurora hit-and-run
AURORA, CO – Investigators with the Aurora Police Department are searching for the suspect or vehicle involved in a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run collision in mid-December.
According to 9 News, the accident occurred on December 16th at about 7:30 p.m. along East Iliff Avenue near the intersection with South Peoria Street.
The victim, who has been identified as a 62-year-old man was struck by light-colored a 2004-2008 Toyota Solara. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries several days after the incident occurred.
Police are asking anyone with information that may lead to a suspect in this case to reach out.
