Pedestrian hospitalized following northeast Denver collision
DENVER, CO – A pedestrian was transported to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle at a busy northeast Denver intersection Wednesday morning.
According to the Dever Police Department, the accident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. when the pedestrian was attempting to cross Colorado Boulevard at 48th Ave. and was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound.

The unidentified victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities are advising motorists to avoid this portion of Colorado Boulevard as delays are likely as traffic has been limited to one lane during the investigation.
