News: Statewide police hunt underway after fatal pedestrian crash
GLENDALE, CO – Police across the state are hunting for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian yesterday evening, and they’re asking the public for help.
KKTV reports that the fatal accident happened at about 5:40 p.m. yesterday at the intersection of S. Cherry Street and S. Leetsdale Drive. The circumstances of the collision are unknown at this time, but by 7:20 p.m., police issued a statewide alert for the perpetrator’s capture.
They believe the vehicle in question is a white four-dour sedan, possibly a Hyundai or Nissan, with a partial Colorado license plate number of 118. The vehicle likely has significant windshield damage.
According to CBS4, the victim was a 74-year-old woman.
