News: Bicyclist injured in hit-and-run collision with flatbed truck
DENVER, CO – Police are on the lookout for the driver of a flatbed truck who struck a bicyclist and then drove away from the scene early Tuesday evening.
9 News reports that the collision happened close to the intersection of South Dahlia Street and East Florida Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. on November 17. A southbound flatbed truck hauling lumber struck the bicyclist as it made a right turn from Dahlia onto Florida. The bicyclist had been stopped at the intersection’s northwest corner. The truck continued west on Florida without stopping.
The bicyclist was seriously injured in the collision.
