News: Bicyclist injured in collision with truck in Longmont
LONGMONT, CO – A 66-year-old man was injured Monday afternoon collided with the bicycle he was riding, according to Colorado Daily.
The crash took place shortly after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Ninth Avenue/St. Vrain Road and Deerwood Drive. Further details regarding the circumstances of the crash are not available at this time.
The injured cyclist was taken to an unspecified Denver hospital with serious injuries. The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The intersection was closed until 4:45 p.m.
