News: 2 killed after man steals, crashes nursing home bus
BLACK FOREST, CO – Two people were killed yesterday when a man stole a bus from an Aurora nursing home and then crashed it into three other vehicles.
According to the Journal, an unidentified 20-year-old man stole the 16-passenger bus at around 9:30 a.m. He collided with a car in Parker about an hour later but was able to drive away from the scene. He then crashed into a pair of passenger vehicles on State Highway 83 in Black Forest at 11 a.m., killing a 66-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman whose names have not been released to the public.
An official with the Colorado State Patrol said that the man was transported to a hospital after the crash. He will likely face several criminal charges.
