News: 1 dead after train collides with SUV in Brighton
BRIGHTON, CO – One person was killed yesterday afternoon when a train collided with an SUV just north of Barr Lake State Park.
According to NBC 9 News, the crash occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 152nd Avenue and Lark Bunting Lane, just east of I-76.
The struck vehicle has been identified as a 2003 Ford SUV. One occupant was killed in the crash.
The circumstances of the collision are still unclear at this time, and the Colorado State Patrol is continuing to investigate. We will update this blog should more information become available.
