1 dead, 1 injured following crash in Green Valley Ranch
DENVER, CO – One person was killed and another was injured in a collision in the Green Valley Ranch area yesterday, according to a tweet from the Denver Police Department.
TRAFFIC: #Denver officers are investigating a 2-vehicle crash at GVR and Picadilly. One person has been pronounced deceased on scene. Another person was transported with non-life threatening injuries. Investigation is ongoing. Picadilly and GVR is closed alternate routes advised. pic.twitter.com/U0tettUnMT

According to the Denver Police, two vehicles collided at the intersection of Green Valley Ranch Boulevard and Picadilly Road sometime before 7 a.m. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead at the scene, while a second was taken to an area medical facility for treatment of injuries not deemed life-threatening.
The intersection was closed for some time so that authorities could investigate and clear the accident.
